Cadence, MGM, United Artists, Columbia, Atlantic, Amos, Liberty, Reward, EMI, London. Many of these were produced or co-produced by Johnny through his own production company Maydu Inc., including albums, CDs, videos and DVD’s. Johnny has penned well over 60 songs which have been published and recorded, many were hits both for himself and recorded by other artists, as mentioned elsewhere “It Keeps Right On A Hurtin” recorded by over 110 Artists. “Who’s Gonna Take the Garbage Out”, and “I’m Not Leaving You (It’s All In Your Mind)” recorded by Loretta Lynn and Ernest Tubb. Johnny’s song “Another You” was recorded by Skeeter Davis, “Promise Me” by Carl Dobkins Jr., “You’re Memory Comes Along” Connie Smith, “Judy, Judy, Judy” Petula Clark, “Dreamy Eyes,” “Without You,” “Two Strong Hearts,” and others have been recorded by other artists. Johnny is an award winning songwriter. He was honored by BMI for his compositions “Without You” and “It Keeps Right On A Hurtin” which also won the Millionaire award for over 1,000,000 (one million airplays).
